^^^^^ lol. I always figured screw it I was going fishing anyway. Might as well have some buddies along. They usually always supplied the beer

I always take one or two people with me and they usually take care of the bait, gas and launch fees.  Not that I care, but they insist.
That must be nice. All of my friends think my boat runs on "Thanks".
What's better than owning a boat?

Having a friend who owns a boat.

Owning a cheap boat but having friends with the big boats.  Best of both boats.

Michael, that is total Bullshid and you know it, my friend. I may not be as smart as all of you folks on the forum, but I am good at math, and I can tell you, it is not cheap. I have two eggs, a new patio remodel, 2 fridges, 2 freezers, new patio furniture, a complete kitchen demo and redesign, meat slicer, aluminum foil and pans by the truck load, cast iron, new pots and pans, butcher paper, knives, piles of lump, new lighting, new fencing, new landscaping, sound systems, HBP and chloresterol, and this is all since the eggs. I could go on......just know @DoubleEgger the BS card has been thrown. ;)

Thanks to your post the other day I have a added a Blackstone to the patio! Seasoned it up with 4 coats of oil and did some Asian style vegetables for a quick lunch yesterday. Tonight we go for full on stir fry! This this going to make a great partner our LBGE!

Anyone in the New Berlin, WI area the Walmart at Greenfield and Moreland has 4 left at $99. The delafield walmart had them listed for $40, but of course were sold out. I called but they said they couldn't offer me a price adjustment. I still feel $99 is a damn good price for this.

I feel like with my egg, blackstone and a crockpot there is nothing I can't cook!! Well a Sous vide set up would be nice. And a Blackstone pizza oven. And a mini max would be handy. Who am I kidding??? But nice job on that seasoning @NewBerlinEggprentice

@NewBerlinEggprentice Glad to hear you found it and was able to get one. On the price adjustment, just go to customer service at the $40 store, show the receipt, and tell them that you just purchased it and you just saw that they are now selling it for a lower price and would like to have the price adjusted (don't mention that you bought it at a different store - let them figure that out). Worst that can happen is that they say no.

@Focker get that thing fired up!!! I wet sanded mine with 70 grit. Seemed to knock off most of the roughness.

    Yessir!

Medium coarse seemed just about right.  Left the slightest texture for seasoning, but smooth to touch.

Love the JD overkill pic too. Lol

Just FYI - the bottom tray gets really hot during use. Don't store anything there that can't handle heat.

Side tables get plenty hot as well. And the unit is extremely hot at all the vent areas. Be careful where you set the Blackstone up.

    ^^^^^this

I have melted several plastic bowls, the Blackstone oil and water squirt bottles, etc.

I am so used to setting everything on the BGE side tables.

Does the 28 not have 2 side shelves?  Does it not have wheels either?

Good point on location. I pull mine WAY away from the vinyl siding on my house prior to working.

Medium egg, KJ Classic, Weber Kettle, and Weber Silver B gas grill.  That collection handles all of my cooking needs.  Some times all four are running for family get togethers.  I don't see the need for another grill in terms of capacity or type of cook.  Gave my 18" Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker to my youngest son, who has made good use of it.  However there is always the temptation to add new equipment.  Just recently bought a Tip Top Controller (not yet tried) and an Anova Sous Vide device (great!).

smores forks.  I have a large collection of them.  some people think they're all the same or you can just use a coat hanger, but many are very specific to a situation, type of fire, etc.  it's actually quite technical.
    Love you bro!
