@SGH
Brothers and Sisters, Scottie has been one of the most amazing teachers on this forum. However, his skill set, willingness to describe a specified cook and provide guidance is unparalleled. He always posts, and its always what you and/or the OP wanted to know. You Scottie deserve a thank you, for all you do. You've been a mentor to me. Chime in if @SGH has influenced you. Thank you Scottie!

My brother, you are to kind. I certainly appreciate the shout out my friend, I truly do. It has always been my pleasure to help when and where I can. And if the Good Lord is willing, I will be offering what I can for a long time to come hopefully.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out. -

Absolutely agree with folks above. Seems willing to run through a brick wall to ensure someone's/anyone's cook will turn out well. Kudos to Scottie and everyone who makes this such a great place to visit.Stillwater, MN

Scottie is amazing. Just yesterday he helped me with a spice question. Prior to Christmas I posted a question about a brisket a friend almost ruined by "scalping" it. Scottie posted his home phone number and spoke to me at length as to what to do to bring it around. My friend still speaks of that brisket as the best he ever had. Scottie made it happen. I appreciate all I have learned here.

I know I felt honored when he replied to my post yesterday about my first pizza. I appreciated all the comments, but when I saw SGH's response, I felt like I "belonged".

Yes I agree Scottie has got to be one of my all time favorites. Even though I have never directly discussed things with him he is a great asset to the group, and oh yea he is a true American who loves his country!

I always love the info he shares, but I'm increasingly concerned about his huge crush on Hillary.Love you bro!

I have to agree with you bgebrent. He is always willing to help. Who else openly posts their phone number? Has personally given me help more than once and I know that it will always be spot on. Plus, I fear he is the only one on here who has any shot at rescuing brother nolaegghead from the wasteland of the very far left.

Scottie is always willing to post his advice and lend a helping hand to anyone and everyone. I am not one to document and post much to look at, but hope to one day post something worthy of the @SGH seal of approval.

Offering advice is great and @sgh does a LOT of that. But he's even shown up to offer more than advice during my big Charity cook when I first got my offset. His help was invaluable!
