    Sounds like it was a bad Monday for more than just your or I.

    Not that mine was worse, just ranting.

    We gave out raises last week. I had a staffer come to me in my office and say hat the raise she got was **** and her cheque was $40 less than before. I told her that I went to bat for her and she got 3% instead of the standard 2% that 95% of the staff got.

    I proceeded to let her know that I was disappointed in them for not being gracious for what was done for them.

    PS I looked into her pay in the office, 3 cheques ago she had 5 hours more than normally received. The last cheque had all of her company benefits deducted, so she was comparing to inflated cheques against her raise cheque. comparing apples to oranges.
