NC Egg Gathering?

At Brisket Camp @piney and I were talking about trying to organize some kind of Egg gathering / fest in NC.  I've touched base with @tarheelmatt about this as well, and he said that a few of you NC folks had kicked it around at one point.  

So... anyone interested?  I think we could maybe do something next spring, maybe April or early May when it's starting to warm up.  Just keep it low key - see if we can't get a good number of folks to bring their Eggs somewhere.  We'd obviously want to make sure we don't conflict with the Eggfest in the GA mountains, since a lot of you go to that.  

As for location I'd be game for anything there too.  Lots of good options in NC.  I have a line on a bar here in Durham that would give us the space to cook for nothing, but I'm game for carting my Egg anywhere.  This would be open to everyone, obviously, even Kentucky fans...

Gary and I discussed as well. It's not a terrible drive for me to western NC, but I'd go farther. Always up for meeting more eggers. 

I'm already red neck enough, so I'm dressing normally with my regular teeth. Both of them...

These things sound way better than a standard fest! Like the original... Pat Fest in FL. Long way for me, 7-800 miles, but you never know.

I was in Minneapolis for work about 12 years ago and drove this dude's S5.  There was about 2 feet of snow on the ground, although the roads were plowed, ice was patchy.  I had a few drinks in me, I admit.  I scared the crap out of both of us.  But my training of driving crazy my whole life paid off.  No close calls.  Of course I'm a southern boy and I'm not used to those conditions, but I do know and trust the quattro system.

 What do you guys think?  If you have any leads on a possible location we could put something like this on?  @MaskedMarvel , I know you're in the restaurant scene and could have a good lead.

Both my large and med are in tables, I assume that'd make it easy to roll on to my trailer for transport.
