Ever since David Crosby appeared on the latest Snarky Puppy album (highly recommended!) I've been catching up on DC's solo work; this is his latest from 2015. It's amazing that his style never really changes, which is a good thing as his music is as comfortable as flannel pajamas and port.

My Beautiful Wife arranged some killer seats at a very small venue here in Louisville last Saturday evening. The artist we saw was James Mc Murtry, who Steven King once called the truest, fiercest song writer of his generation. The man could tell a story. He should, his father was an author and screenplay writer of "Lonesome Dove", "Terms of Endearment" "The Last Picture Show" and others.
The venue sat about 500 people, many had traveled 5-6 hours to see the show. Prior to this event, although I had heard of him, I was completely unaware of his music. The dude is a troubadour ofour current world.
