  • Just bought a turntable/speakers a few weeks ago, so we have bought a lot of new records: Adele, Mumford & Son, Avett Bros, Black Keys, DMB, and Alabama Shakes are in the rotation right now.

    Not sure if you know this or not, but before they were Wicked Lester they were Rainbow for a short time. Once they discovered that there was already a band with that name, they changed to Wicked Lester. The name Wicked Lester was only used (that I know of) for two live performances. After this, the name again changed to KISS. Paul Stanley was almost not in the band. He was rejected by Gene Simmons when he first auditioned for Rainbow. One has to wonder how successful KISS would have been without Stanley's trademark voice. Gene almost F'd up.
