I just reloaded the humidor yesterday. Famous smoke had a great deal. I can’t wait to try some new stuff out. I bought some “best of” samplers.

Do you order all these boutique cigars or have a good shop in town that steers you to the right spot? You seem to have the pipeline. I wish we had a good shop locally, but that's one of the prices you pay for living in the sticks.CoMoBGE said:

I order online. I just wait for sales(I get emails from at least 10 different vendors) and stock up. There are some great deals to be had. Even for the more boutique stuff I rarely spend more than $4-$5 per stick. At the same time my cigar collection just seems to be getting bigger.pgprescott said:

I understand the collection size. I’ve been on an aggressive purge lately, but that will swing the other way soon enough. I have my regulars in the rotation but really enjoy the variety and search for new hidden gems. Sometimes I wish I was wired like the guys who just enjoy a single brand etc. thanks for sharing alll the varietyCoMoBGE said:

This smoke down is for you brother. It’s my last one. Fixing to wind down with a Captain & Coke followed by a fine late evening shave with a tallow based soap and a vintage straight. Then I’m going to enjoy it. Fitting end to a rough day.
Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Enjoying my first H.Upman ever with a Presidente. “The Banker” is a solid stick. I bought a sampler online. So far, so good. -

I really have no idea what this is, took the wrapper off before I lit it. But a good friend left it for me a couple nights ago.
Storms just wrapped up and it's a peaceful evening out on the patio.

What do you use to light those sticks? I've heard a zippo is bad.Near San Francisco in California

Butane lighters. They claim the fumes from a Zippo will taint the cigar. I can see this for the initial draw.baychilla said:What do you use to light those sticks? I've heard a zippo is bad. -
Aside from the single use nature of matches - those are preferable to matches?Near San Francisco in California
