After a successful dinner!

After the guests left and the hosts went to bed, I'm sipping bourbon from a plastic cup and enjoying a cigar.

Don't know about you and your fair city, but around here our yards have gone straw brown, the hickory trees are already dropping nuts 2 to 3 months early and the oaks are dropping tiny immature acorns like a rain storm. I have an irrigation system that works fine, and the lawn is a lost cause til Fall, but I am running it for sake of my trees' health. We have a heavily wooded lot, but over the last 38 years here I've lost several and don't want to lose more if I can help it. -

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out. -

Stage 1 of Oliva experiment

Have to go buy a couple more “O’s”. This is a “G”. A bit of bitterness. Not on par with the V or O IMO. Not pairing real well with my coffee. Maybe something stronger would be better?i will suffer through for research sake.
