Got an email from local coastco that prime rib eyes were $14.99 a lb so I went. Turned out the rib eye caps were also $14.99 a lb.
-
Nice score @Lit I think they were $24.99/lb at My Costco yesterday. Great eats for sure!

@Lit- don't know your eggsperience with the caps (great score right there) but I prefer them unrolled and then hot and fast for the finish temp. Regardless, "better to be lucky than good" comes to mind. Phone call and then hopefully a road trip in the AM. Bought my first non-black Friday printer. Stepped up to a small office printer. Almost as bad as trying to read reviews on mattresses. Its either the best printer or the worst printer. We shall see.
Don't tell your problems to people. 80% of people don't care and 20% are glad you have them.
-
Yeah and after you've bought a new cartridge or two, you out spend what the printer cost. They should give them away!

Thanks for the heads up @Lit - went with the Hasty Bake for these tonight.
Unrolled, salted, and then seared
Then moved over to the cool side and lowered the firebox. Added fresh ground black pepper.
Turned out pretty tasty
This paired nicely
Should have bought more for freezing...They/Them
