At children's hospital ER with youngest boy.  Possible broken something.  Fell down stairs watching his tablet.  Walked in with possible broken bone and I am 90 percent sure we are leaving with the flu.  Everyone wearing masks. Kids throwing up.  I am screwed.

Hoping for the best. Ask them for a pack of flu meds, doctors are recommending them as a premptive strike against the flu.

Man, a day early and (several dollars) more or a day late and a dollar short.   Reciently I can’t win....

Hopefully they still have them at that price tomorrow.

That is a bad deal.  Hope you guys don't all get the flu and hope your youngest doesn't have anything to bad.

Couple of tips - don't drive there. Uber, Lyft or cab.  No friends, they will be destroyed even if they don't drink.   Hydrate with plenty of fresh water like you're going on desert mission before you go.  Don't wear underwear because you will not come home with them.  Make sure your affairs are in order.  Have the time of your life.

    Peace out!

Hope the kiddo is OK.  I can relate.  My Mom had a stroke and has been in the hospital for several days.  The hospital is rank with the flu and nuro virus.  Nurses wearing masks and what not....I'm amazed I'm not dead.    Once again I hope the kid is Ok!

Just cooked (heated up?) some seitan on the small.  Interesting.  Went really well with the grilled romaine.

  • Damn @kl8ton. I was about to **** about my freezer getting left open and having to dump about half the food.

Thanks for giving some perspective. I hope your kiddo is alright and y’all can keep from catching what I can only assume will be the start to the zombie apocalypse.

Geez, should have listened to my wife.  She shook her head and said that shits not funny.  I laughed and said, don't worry its for the forum, not FB.  The forum has a sense of humour.

Btw, your video wasn't funny at all.

I know it's not funny, I said it was "funny".

It was, however, quite informative. I'll see if the good Dr. has done one on anus which might have broader appeal to this crowd.

Thanks everyone!  He gets a sling and is told try not to move it.  This is his 2nd time.

Valet parking at ER was awesome. Complimentary!  Looking forward to reasonably priced bill(s) for the next 3 months.  I am glad it wasn't more.

The way he was reacting,  I thought the arm was broken as well.

White House is slow on the uptake but now panicking that this is going to be a dud and an epic backfire.  There is a reason his appointees Wray and Rosenstein are protesting, it's because they know the whole story, which will come out.  So let it rip!

Those were the St. Bernard Parish days.  Man, I have some pictures from those that are adult-view only.  Early 90s.  Pre-SWMBO days.  One dood's costume was just a tuxedo vest.  Got my GF at the time to pose with him at waist-level.

Getting out of St. Bernard is like being Snake Plissken in Escape from New York.  You run a gauntlet of redneck cops by drunk driving through side streets until you hit the highway and get back in to New Orleans.  This was before Uber and designated drivers don't exist at these events.  Either stay up until your sober, pass out where you won't get scooped up by cops (like in the parking lot in your car) or call a cab.  It was nuts.

Usually had the Radiators playing as the defacto band,  Music is always good.

Never got caught or arrested, always a good time.  Much tamer now, but at a biker bar that has kinda a lodge kinda "new" aesthetic.  But good people, average age has crept up as people age, once you're in, you're a lifer.

PS - Steampunk is not so terrible.  I've been working on a steampunk motorcyle. It's just a steam-technology old-world meshed with science fiction genre.  Top hats, goggles, submarines.  etc.

This is going to be epic, for me anyway. My Beautiful Wife also said the Radiators will be playing. Saw some of the images of the steam punk genre, kind of like Dune and Sgt Peppers via Thunderdome, to me. She has ordered stuff for me for that one.
I had asked her if there were any pictures from her time there in the early 90s. She denies there is evidence.
While there, our down day will be Monday, if you have the time.
I suppose you have no plans on going to the MB?
    Hope to see you.
