Smoking some tasso for my buddy Zack. Way too salty. I had him take it off, rinse and soak before putting back on the smoker.

I had a cheepie John Morrell's ham for dinner yesterday and today, and it too was way too salty. 3/4ths of it is still in the freezer, need to soak it before cooking it up.
My scalloped spuds, which I kinda winged, were stellar however.

Kid and I are sick, so Christmas dinner will happen in a few days. Tonight's dinner was a tomato and mayo sandwich. I'm living vicariously through you all, so thanks for posting.

Watching the Eagles really sloppy play. The past two weeks have been bad, but they've managed wins. Hopefully they can manage again.
Pork turned out pretty tasty.

Nothing quite says “Christmas spirit” like trying to troll members with doggy pics and whatnot in one of the more popular threads on the forum, not to mention the specific Christmas related threads. Maybe give it a rest, until at least the new year starts. Just a thought."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike
