Had a a wonderful day. First time hosting Christmas and even though it was a ton of work it was definitely worth it to pay it forward.

Smoking some tasso for my buddy Zack.  Way too salty.  I had him take it off, rinse and soak before putting back on the smoker.

I had a cheepie John Morrell's ham for dinner yesterday and today, and it too was way too salty.  3/4ths of it is still in the freezer, need to soak it before cooking it up.
My scalloped spuds, which I kinda winged, were stellar however.

Some very fine spreads being posted - nicely done everyone.

Kid and I are sick, so Christmas dinner will happen in a few days.  Tonight's dinner was a tomato and mayo sandwich.  I'm living vicariously through you all, so thanks for posting.

Nola, your a good guy, but the consant bagging on @Focker and @pgprescott, who are also good people just with different view points than you is getting old.  Use your time for better things.
Dude, that street runs two ways.

And I agree it's all getting tired.
I agree, it takes two to tango.  Just wishing it would stop.  Too many sh!tty things elsewhere and too many good things here for the constant pot shots.
I only respond to them.  Check any relevant posts.
That’s an absolute falsehood. What in @fockers post today had anything to do with you? As usual, You started it.

Is my internet slow and that is why the pic didn't load?  Or did you not post one?  There should certainly be a rule for you.  If you cook and tell, you must post pics.  I can't get enough of your outdoor kitchen!

Sorry brother, no pic. It was a simple omelette made on the house stove burner. It was only special because I made for my girl by request.
