I can get a good look at a T bone by sticking my head up a bull’s azz, but I’d rather take a butcher’s word for it.

Home safe, roads varied from just wet to sheet of ice.

The folks that had the stupid awesome pizza oven didn't know how to properly operate what they had. They used a press to squash their dough balls to discs. C'mon, learn how to toss dough...

And then, when I tasted the pie at first, I didn't notice it. But, when I got to the crust with no toppings or sauce, I knew they did it. Why did they have to put sugar in the dough? That is not needed... I wanted to go teach them a thing or two about making pizza, but my friends convinced me it wasn't worth it, and we just enjoyed the rest of the afternoon drinking wine, having food, enjoying each others' company. Then there were a few more stops.

The DudeThis is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.

@YukonRon it looks like you need to leave a decent stash of middle to bottom shelf around in plain view before you leave home. A true travesty right there.

Yes, the shade cast from the tree, protects those wonderful apples from the light. They did not roll far, but certainly fell.

Large batch, not as strong as one would imagine, but a very wonderful flavor. Still will kick you in the back of the pants, very quickly, though.

The other 9 are still good. I keep it for friends, slushies, and now it seems, egg nog.

Pond to table... Green wings and gadwalls.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

You could probably get the same flavor with some cheaper Old Crow couldn't you?

Seasoned, yes. Professional, obviously not. It is the only bourbon I keep a quantity of, so shame on me. I suppose they were thinking hit the most of what is on hand, such is life. I am ok with it.

I honestly do not know. First time for this, and I have not tried it yet. In previous years, it was made with Buffalo Trace or similar. The children thought they were actually doing me a solid, by making it with one of my faves.
Sometimes, the thought is more important than the gift. That is what I am going with, anyway.
