@lousubcap no worries beer will always be a staple here. As for the mrs., next time she's getting a .99 McDonald's burger.

Watching a ridiculously talented Duke team take Michigan State to the woodshed for a beating.
Not so much.  M State made it exciting.  Grayson Allen, amazing night, dammit.

They did that with arguably their best player on the bench in the second half.

Best cheeseburgers to date. Wife said they were too salty. No more burgers for her!
    Burger night here as well

Kept it pretty simple, Swiss cheese, sauteed mushrooms in ghee, and stone ground mustard.

What a great night of basketball.  The Duke/MSU game was great.  And we still have Kansas/UK to go!

@YEMTrey - absolutely right.  If you are a college B'ball junkie then you won't get the equivalent match-ups until deep into March.  And away we go again tonight.

ESPN, after consulting with Coach K, decided to use at most four letters for all of the teams.

Yeah but I'm quite sure the four letters Coach K offered didn't come close to Kent.  In the interest of thread preservation I would guess that K--f could somehow be worked into the production.  ;)

I think K's suggestion for Kentucky was KAKA.  It's not so much phonetic as it is intuitive.

We're lucky to be in this as close as we are.  If we can rebound better we have a chance.  Fortunately, coincidentally, my satellite clinic is closed tomorrow.  Love the timing.

@bgebrent - was Vermont that good or is Kansas that bad??  ;)

That we're in this, priceless.  I anticipated a a 10 point loss.  These kids are green but good.

I watched the Utah Valley and Vermont contests-the level of their game tonight is much better.  Gotta admit in the first two games the team looked like a bunch of 5th year HS seniors.  They have come along way since Sunday.

Couple of things: these young guys have a lot to learn about defense and rebounding. They, like some of the other schools, are a target and motivation for the opponents to always play their best games. Was Vermont that good? Maybe. Is Kansas that good? Maybe. It is a long season, and the records now are not as important as those in March.
40-0 is off the table, but, SEC regular season, SEC tournament, and the Final Four is still there.
These kids, on the road in the SEC, are going to get an education. Come tournament time, they will have been through the grinder. If they survive Camp Cal, they might make a decent showing in March.
    We will see.

What are you going to do with your one square foot of scrubland? Plant a chili pepper plant (preferably an extremely rare/endangered variety)?

I'll have to disagree Lou.  Playing in the ACC, it's a shootout almost every game.
