I'm going to keep an APB out in the cove. Maybe I'll get my lure back in a day or two if she goes belly up.

On a more happy note, apparently I didn't  get the door to my month old freezer closed well on Friday before wing ding. All my stuff is thawed and warm and the freezers making a helluva racket. Being stupid is painful.

Being a low impact dumb-a$$ is one thing-being a life impacting dumb-a$$ (granted it took many years for the light to go on) is quite another.  Consider yourself lucky.  Besides you had a weekend party friendly competition complete with adult beverages on the far end.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

On the bright side, it's so new it wasn't full. Biggest loss was a handful of ribeye at 6.99/#.

As as long as I can get it going again, it'll be fine.  Really it'll be fine either way, just one is more painful than the other.

If it's empty, unplug it for a while.  Give it a rest.  That sounds scientific, right?

Should have sent it to Michael to use for his gar bait. Save him from buying a $20.00 lure.

Happened to me once, didn't lose everything thankfully wasn't that long before we noticed. Now, we lock our upright freezers, not to prevent someone from getting in (the key hangs on the pegboard beside the freezers), but to make sure it's closed.

Great shot! But what’s with $20 lures now days!!! I go into Bass Pro now and everything is out the roof. Had a bad day a few years ago and lost 3 right out of the package Mirrow-lures in less than 10 minutes. Spanish mac’s were thick that day at least that was only $18.

Finally got a tree guy to show up to give me an estimate. Good grief. Took more than 3 months just to get an estimate. $750 for two trees. Stumps and all. At this point, first guy with a saw that actually shows up wins.
    That's cheap brother
Not really, here are the pics of the trees he sent me ....

I was excited in the top of the 1st, looked like the Twins were going to do it.  Less so immediately afterwards.

Santana stunk it up. 0-5 record at Yankee stadium. Hard to get any momentum going after the 1st inning. Judge is a freak of nature. Go Indians!

Preparing myself for a cleanup day. The tree guys came in and downed 3 river birches that have 4 main trunks each and 1 Bradford pear. After that, the stump guys came in and took care of the stumps from the newly downed trees and 2 smaller ones that we had done ourselves. Then, yesterday, we had to have a cleanup service come in and remove the leftover debris from the stump guys. It's been nice and cool, so we had all of the windows open. When the cleanup crew came in, they advised us to close all of the downstairs windows before they started. It hasn't rained here in awhile and it looked like a dust storm in Texas. I had no idea that hubby had left the upstairs windows open. I was busy doing other things downstairs. More than a little pi$$ed. It looks like everything upstairs got dusted with mineral makeup. I might just have a white Russian and wait for the maid, who isn't due until Saturday. Decisions, decisions.

My wife had a couple of White Russians this weekend at a wedding. I encourage it myself. Hell they are already in our heads these days.
