What are the posts, 6 x 6? Did you set them direct in concrete? What do you plan for cladding?
I hope I explained that where it's understandable. I did not set them in or with concrete, I used 16 inches of sand. But when I pour the slab, they will be surrounded by 6 inches of above ground concrete, and supported by 16 inches of underground concrete.
When I get the slab poured and remove the form boards, I will take some close up pics that will make the above more clear.
Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Just finished installing 11 of these. Pork butt on the medium with whiffs of pecan in the air makes the work much better.

Hangin' with my 6 yr old sous, trying our version of OTT chili on the bullet, no wood, just K, 300. Absolutely beautiful day.

A friend of mine who builds houses and buildings got his hands on a lot of "seconds" lumber. He was kind enough to let me get a good bit of it. If you take away the cost of the concrete, this building will only have about 2 thousand bucks of material in it. With that said, I'm going to end up with a 24x50 building on a slab for about 7,000 bucks. So I thought why not. I have no doubt that once it's complete I will figure something out to do with it. Even if it's just used for storage.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

@SGH- you know how this will turn out. Just like refrigerators, garages or closets-doesn't matter the volume, it will all get filled. But good for you to go for it...You can't just randomly store free-market anus in any 'ol shack.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

From a simmer at 400 with the door prop mod, to 250, top off of more K, some chunks of peach, 19lbs of Schnuck's butt, Gates' Original Classic. Pack of coyotes yippin' maybe 100 yards away. Boys tucked in. Stargazing conditions optimal. Hopefully nobody falls out of the golf cart tonight at full speed. I had faith, my stunt would be one upped, and it was.
