Made quiche.
Today is one of those days. Wood was funky and I had trouble getting it going. Browned it a bit too much on top. It will still eat - gotta have days like this to stay humble.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

just finished up harvesting a couple
bushels of oysters. Some of you may remember my bodyguard Delton from Butt Blast #1. Thats him, still working for me. Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here. Very Extremely Stable Genius. -
Delton's a good dude. Susceptible to bourbon slushies like he rest of us. Hope he's back on his feet. Figuratively and literally.

He said, "you're the best Dad I could imagine" His biological father was not involved in his life and died when D was young.Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Offices are closed and we made a pot of red beans and rice last night for dinner. So we made grilled cheese and had leftovers for lunch!
