Lol, that club is a work of art, good meat to fluff ratio.  What an Italian gem of a deli you have found.

Is that the bridge that burned down?

Did your brisket price just skyrocket all the way to 3.49/lb?

Our costco's did.  Used to be 2.99 for the last year or two.  Now i will have to look at staycations just to afford brisket!

I don't think that brisket knows its grade. Prime on the label and choice on the sticker

    Nice catch.

I took the wind out of the sails of Costco meat department employees a couple weeks ago.  They had just finished stocking the 85/15 ground beef and were doing the clean up/sanitizing of all equipment.  I pointed out that the labels on all the beef showed them expiring 3 months ago.  :-(

Yeah, I noticed the mis-marked brisket. Asked and got a shoulder shrug. I've always had Prime briskets from Costco so assuming... And we all know what happens when you assume

Fishlessman, I'm not trying to knock your sammich or anything,

    but....
I'm not a fan of that kind of overstuffed sammich, at all.  You can't get your mouth around it, if the bun is crusty enough you cut your lips while trying to get your mouth around it (I used to do this often), and when the meat's that thick, you might as well be eating a whole turkey cutlet with a side salad.  I do like a balance between meat, greens, tomato, bread, and condiments... and the above ain't it.
Guy Fieri eats a lot of these kinds of sammiches, and he struggles to get them in his mouth too.  It just doesn't make sense to me, and there are a few local sammich shops I don't go to anymore because of the overstuffing.
YMMV, of course, and those overstuffed contraptions continue to sell, but for me, I like them thinner/more balanced.  A sammich was developed for eating convenience, not to present a struggle.

Getting ready for a day on a sloppy track

We had a tournament, years ago, when the infield and the pre existing divot in the outfield were ponder in shallow water.
We were doing everything we could do to get the field ready, but it just was not seemingly going to happen.
Then one of the ten year olds, said "why don't you throw down mulch to help soak it up?"
We parents looked at one another like, DUH!
    We did feel very stupid.
We used pine bark mulch because it was readily available, with quick access. A couple hours later we cleared it off, threw out some DD, and presto, we were ready to play.
    BTDT.
    Good luck with the games.
