Been playing with my new telephoto these last two weekends. This was shot handheld while sitting in my truck (not easy!) and she flew off before I could set up my window mount.

Thrown a piece of pork leg on the Egg. Not much fat in it so going to try 325F and see how it goes, maybe boost it for crackling at the end.

SV 25hrs at 135 - Weber seared sirloin tip roast seasoned with beau mondes, cayanne pepper, out of the bath rubbed with garlic infused olive oil Himalayan pink salt fresh and cracked pepper - it was good but the eye of the round I did 2 weeks ago was better“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

Been a while since I last snapped a picture of food. So maybe this will help get me to crawl out of my hole.
SV turkey breasts. Injected with lemon, melted butter, salt, pepper, season salt, garlic, and onion. Sit for an hour. Seasoned with same seasonings above. SV 2 hrs at 148° for 2 hrs. Under the broiler to crisp up and add color.
Mashed red potatoes with gravy. Corn was from last year's season.
Made a salad of romaine, red onion, cucumber, Mandarin orange, and simple EVOO and lemon deessing.
Flavor was freaking out of bounds. Wife said "dang this is some of the best turkey". I was pleased.

Leftovers packed as TV dinners from last Thanksgiving. Ham, turkey, dressin', green bean casserole and corn. 3 months later and still tasty. Still have about 10 of these in the freezer. No mess either.
