@focker - I gotta give you props, that looks delicious.  Good thing I'm gonna be in SA very soon, love me some Mexican food, like in a sweet way that I won't get in to here on account this is a family forum.

Thanks nola, was happy for a first rip.  I need to scale back to ping pong ball size with the masa.

Very fond of Mexican grub too, SA would be awesome.  A 6 hour wait in line for Q would play second fiddle to some of the many, great, Tex Mex joints North of the border.

Oh yeah, and we appreciate your restraint.  ;)

Packing up my stuff. Looks like I have a decent chunk of free time today. Planning to walk down to Chinatown, about an hour walk. I'm probably going to stretch it out and take my time seeing the city. Just need to end up back at the hotel sometime to get my luggage and head back to the airport.

    That was a wise decision.

@SGH - Louisiana the limit is like 25 each over 12".  We threw everything under 14" back.  And we didn't use any dynamite or stuff.  Just regular rods and reels.  They were biting on plastic, we got live bait (minnows, shrimp were too small), but ended up releasing them.

That could be your mother in law, except that you said it was legal.  More blurry pictures, but without the layer of ice and frost, please.

Playing with my new toy, a "used" Nikkor 200 f4 Macro lens.  B&H sold it to me at 2/3rds the price of a new one, said it was a 9.5 but it is immaculate, came with all caps, storage tube, even the strap (still unwrapped) and the warrantee card (okay, it was wrinkled!).  Very happy, I got a great deal!  :triumph:

Wow...I see they stack their firewood vertically. Is this kinda like the water swirling in reverse in Australia? Looks like great fun....enjoy.

Had a fireplace like that in Costa Rica. Same deal. Preloaded with firewood vertically and it really burned well.

Do the same with the fire pit. Then once started teal well, with lots of coals, I just throw it in. I do the same with our fireplace, as well.
