Looks like the BIL had an epileptic attack, not a cardiac event like he had before.  That's a good thing...he's walking and talking.  No driving for 6 months/year (whatever it is in Alabama).  Guess he'll have to take Uber to work for a while.  He's a partner cardiologist at a group that has it's own hospital and he instigated the therapeutic hypothermia program there...and was the 5th patient.  So he went through the process and woke up with all his facilities and kept practicing cardiology....went around and talked about it at professional seminars. 

He was technically dead for 6 minutes (previously) before the therapeutic hypothermia treatment.  Fortunately it happened at his hospital and they found him on a security camera.  He received a pacemaker/defibrillator and we thought initially he was getting zapped.   

Anyway, all looks good, thanks for the well wishes.

Watching UPS like a hawk so this crap that happened last week doesn't happen today! They delivered these FRESH Big Jim Chiles from Hatch, NM 3 days late. All because they forgot to. They were on our normal UPS driver's truck. 
New batch was shipped & they are set to deliver today. I'll be roasting today.

@Legume Normally UPS wants shipment back so they can process it for damage. We offered them the box back but, they declined. A$$holes!

The pics don't really show how disgusting the cabinet is on this CNC machine.....it has been so well taken care of.  Trying to figure out why it won't work.  Doesn't see the network anymore.  MS DOS is my favorite.

I did end up getting the machine to talk to the network again.  It was a bad network line.  You don't want to jiggle any wires in here.  The machine may never work again!  We inherited this machine.  It was in a building we bought.  We called up the 70+ year old guy that used to run it.  He works part time on that machine doing 2D millwork for us.  I want the machine gone.  It is a headache for me.  I have to keep an old computer running on the network that it can talk to.  It won't talk to anything else.

Returning from a bitness trip to Charlotte. Wife picking me up at airport and headed for the mountains for weekend with brother and SIL. No plans to head into the city...but will be keeping my head down all the same.

I'm enjoying the second day of Fall weather. It's already dropped to 92 degrees and only feels like 100 degrees. If this keeps up, we will be wearing shoes before you know it.

Trying to sort the elevation of the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or just go for escape velocity.  Current pace will support a relatively high orbit and with just a few more shots of brown water fuel I could easily reach escape velocity for the evening.  Ah, choices    Plan to land by Sat AM at the latest and refuel within the day for another trip.  Reusable rockets got nothin' on me.
