I just got back from the doctor about my back/sciatica.  Took x-rays, said it doesn't look that terrible, put me on a regimen of  Methylprednisolone. 

Then got a notice of an all corporate entity/management meeting and found out have a new major investor/partner in our firm.  FTC approval was about 2 weeks faster than anticipated so they spilled the beans. 

Shortly after I get a call that my BIL (cardiologist) collapsed at the hospital and we don't have any details yet other than he's intubated.

And SWMBO is at work but will stay at the EJ Hospital overnight for a sleep study.

@Eggscuses  Thanks.  He has a pacemaker/defibrillator that they put in last time he died.  He did get better.

Also, I went, for the first time in maybe 10 years, to a McDonalds next to the pharmacy and bought a big mac and fries.  Fries were good, burger underwhelming.  Maybe I'll try again in 10 years.

So I had a really shetty day. To top it off the Mrs. and I got into little argument. Then somewhere along along the way we realized how petty our problems are and how lucky we really are... and I'm going to mix me a margarita.
