Got the bay boat buffed out, cleaned and waxed today.  Going out Sat morning to slay fish and bringing it to @Thatgrimguy ''s place on the 10th for fun.

That is the boat you did the wiring on?  You bought it as a salvage or something?  Do you have a before pic?   It looks really nice.  Great work.  Clean, clean, clean.

I think we've nailed something down, however I'm worried about the cost.  I'm worried that the plan and what we want will blow what I want to spend.

Blame it on the egg. We are in a 43K remodel of the kitchen right now.

Feels good lacing up the boots, and swinging my big axe hahaha, paired with a Dewalt XRP sawzall, to get some Black Cherry ready for the C-60s arrival of 7/1!  So stoked.  Bill is a great guy to deal with thus far.

@kl8ton Yes,  Thank you!   I probably put 50 hours of work in this boat.  My buddy bought it at an auction salvage - sank.  He put a power pack, carbs, got it working.  I coveted it.  He coveted my BMW F800R bike...eventually we traded. 

Anyway, the boat ran great, just nothing else worked.  So I started fixing everything, mostly electrical - since the battery was hooked up when it sank, it destroyed many switches and corroded connections.

Fast forward to now, EVERYTHING works.  Dual batteries, dual GPS, all new switches, fuses, much of the wiring, stereo, etc.  And now that it's cleaned up, looks almost new.  Serviced the lower unit, changed oil, new trailer lights and wiring.

Since I worked on just about everything, now I know the boat intimately, which is the way I like to have relationships with my mechanical tools.  Something goes wrong, I know exactly which wire, tube, etc is suspect.

Have some before pictures.  Will dig them up.

Also getting the big boat fixed up, but to sell.   I'm gonna keep this bay boat forever.

Decided to dig out a root ball from a shrub that I cut back a few months ago... It's time for a beer!

Ahh Haa!!  That's what I did wrong. I looked at the root ball then I opened the beer. I guess that is why it is still in the ground. I did it in the wrong order....

A friend of mine posted a video earlier on Facebook of downtown Conway just after the win. Horns blowing, people everywhere hollering... It was pretty neat. Wish I could be there for the parade tomorrow.
