I got all the requisite drugs to try passing the stone, but I'm making appointments with a urologist and my general asap.  If it doesn't pass in the next day or two I'll probably have to go in for the surgery or whatever they call shoving an alien looking device up the pee-hole.  I hope I can pass it.  But right now the pain is at a 1 or 2 whereas for a good 5 or 6 hours it was unbearable.  Then it gradually dropped (somewhat due to the morphine and oxy).  I'm calling the worst pain a "9" on the 1-10 scale where 10 is reserved for the type you'd get if you had your arm slowly sawed off while completely sober.

I heard from a coworker who's had kids and kidney stones, that the kidney stone pain level was about as bad as childbirth.  Maybe she had an easy childbirth,  but I can believe it's on par in bad cases.

I couldn't do anything when it was bad except curl up in a ball on the floor, rolling around.
I have been there … it was not fun and to make matters worse my dad was laughing at me while drinking a beer instead of driving my ass to hospital…

After I vomited 4x and could only roll away from the vomit he figured I wasn’t just pussin out …

they had to use the roto rooter to get mine as well

And we're off!  Out of 70 check-ins the 10th person arriving today ran over a water spigot.  I was not lucky enough to avoid doing work on the 2-inch.

@kl8ton - Big weekend and the season kick-off.  What is your park's capacity?

@kl8ton - That is a serious undertaking and likely there are always issues.  Based on prior posts and late night Zoom comments you have been doing a great job of taking care of your guests.  Way to achieve success on your terms.
Here's to a great weekend and season.

Passed the stone this morning.  Still drugged up with pain killers but feel much better.
    Pics or it didn't happen.
@EzraBrooks- no pics when I went to the Emergency room years ago with my kidney stone. Had the "pleasure" of providing training information for about 10 Dr. trainees (male and female) as the patient. Catheter up the urethra to dislodge and finally pass. I was in so much pain I really didn't care who was in the audience.

@nolaegghead - glad you were drugged and able to pass it. Firm believer in drinking lots of water daily, after my two cups of morning coffee.

Yes, one of those chrome wire racks on wheels with 1" and 2" fittings, T's, bushings, compression couplings, etc.  I should have new T's with spigots already made up.  I was glad this was in the "summer water" section and only had to dig down a foot or so.  Earlier this week I hired an excavator to come in and help fix a leak that was 6 foot down.  The water table is at about 5.5 feet down, so I could never get the PVC dry to repair.  He kept scooping and creating a deeper hole for the water to seep to while I fixed.

Still recovering from a rough Tuesday night at one of my fill in spots.
Really nice clinic but always busy. Power went out down town… knocked out the whole city block including the clinic. They just finished a major remodel and the genius electrical engineer didn’t think it would be a good idea to wire the medication safe to the back up generator …  :scream:. Nor a single computer since all the records there are digital.
Then in all the commotion as I was getting cases wrapped up the cops came in and pulled a client out of the room and were arresting him as we were working up his pet.. (Girlfriend who was in the room called on him)

Slept for 6 hours got up went to dinner and the movies with my ladyfriend came home fell asleep in the chair.… slept another 14 hours

Surprised my best friend to day. He’s been talking about getting certified. Went by the dive shop and paid for his open water course . Gave him the gift certificate this afternoon

😉😉 ... Pro move saying "lady friend" and "girl friend" are same person.  If they ever see the forum open they will both assume you are talking about them.  Just like all your lady friends are called "darlin", "sweetie", or "babe".  That way you never use the wrong name.

I had my first kidney stone attack while I was in Tahiti on our last day there.  My wife still yells at me for "ruining" her last day.  The nerve of me.  Had to have surgery the old fashioned way when we got back.  Second time, it was with lithotripsy.

We’re made it.  The final set of fixtures and there is still some admin to tie up.  It is also the unique spectacle of all the matches kicking off on the same day at the same time.  OK, it’s not 3pm on Saturday - but the spirit sustains and memories of cold wet Saturdays in the 1980’s come flooding back.

    FYI, then; the Gunners took all the doubt away last week and gifted the title to City.  We’re all thrilled for the righteous victors, too - and best of luck with their 150 charges of financial irregularities.   The fun’s at the foot with Everton, Leicester and Leeds vying for the final two tickets on the Championship Express, departing directly after the final whistle.  It’s tricky, but for Everton to deservedly be relegated they need to lose and one of the other two must win.  So let’s see if that will absolutely, certainly, without doubt happen;

Arsenal v Wolves, meh - what’s’s the actual point? Whatever 1-0

Aston Villa v Brighton - Villa can qualify for Europe with a win.  I hope they do. 2-1

Brentford v Man City - completely irrelevant. 0-2

Chelsea v Newcastle - we want Chelsea to lose, because; a) it’s funny, b) Super Frank just isn’t, and c) Palace could therefore finish 11th. Huzzah. 1-1

Palace v Forest - the visitors are safe and will be totally spent after securing PL football last week.  They have nothing to play for.  Neither do Palace except our end of season games do tend to generate goal-tastic super-fun. 3-2

Everton v Bournemouth - please 0-1 in the 99th minute, please.  (FYI, it’ll be the worst 0-0 ever and the Toffees will stay up)

Leeds v Spurs - 3-0 would be epic but Kane will score, as usual. 3-1 it is and Leeds go down on goal difference by one goal.

Leicester v West Ham, Foxes are a shambles and deserve to go down. 0-1 and an awful game.

Man Utd v Fulham,  a mid-week win against the hapless Chels’ meant Utd qualified for the Champions League, so mission accomplished.  Fulha are at best going through he motions. 1-0

Southampton v Liverpool - the Reds will finish 5th and the Saints fell though the trap door some time ago. Really, could the teams not just agree on a draw and save the fossil fuel?

    That’s it my fine friends.

We stare in to the abyss as another season is chalked off. We had a World Cup break, Spurs have been the Spursiest Spurs ever, the dark forces in the media colluded to propel the Filthy Seagulls to qualification for the Europa League, but most of all the mighty Eagles stayed up and frankly nothing else matters.

And in case you were wondering,  just 75 days until we go again.

Other girls may try to take me away

While the top of most European leagues has been determined for some time, tomorrow morning we should all put on black and yellow and turn attention to Dortmund.

And the biggest game in England this weekend is Saturday as well - any thoughts on Coventry v Luton Town and who gets the giant promotion payday?
