Sitting on the back deck watching March Madness & watching the boys play in the back yard. Fired up the MiniMax for some burgers and dogs (at their request) which meant I also had to crack open an adult beverage. 76° and sunny. Life is good!

Spent over 3 hours putting together a bed from Wayfare. The Chinese decided that they could outdo IKEA in a complicated design.

Made a Cabernet Sauvignon steak sauce. Ate at a fantastic local place a few days ago and decided to give it a try.
Really liked it, some variation of this will be my go to when I have guests over for steak.
I need to figure out how to keep it from separating. I am thinking I will try it with clarified butter next time.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Two Christmases ago I got their largest camp stove model 'campfire'. It was 50% off plus 2nd one was free, I kept one and sold one. Made a plate out of bottom of a discarded perforated wok to hold pellets, now I need to DIY a 'cage' for fire starter cube.canuckland
