Just read the below regarding the shipping container back log on the west coast.  Ouch-

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

"Wolves V Bentford : the new boys have found the going getting harder with each week and meet a Wolves side that are now showing signs of life.  I fear a life-lesson awaits for the Bees as they run out fo ideas losing 1-0."

Clearly we were both wrong @CPFC1905.  Is Brentford good enough to stay in the PL for a while?

We are remodeling our kitchen.  It's been a long process lining up a contractor we like, etc, but we're finally getting down to it.

We're putting all new appliances in.  One of the items we had in our last house that we really liked was a Bosch dishwasher.  Well, turns out if you want one of those these days, you're looking at 6-8 months of wait time.  It's all about the chip shortage.

First-world problems, I know.  Just thought some of you would be interested.

I hope almost all my predictions continue in this vein.

They could be, what tends to help is a calamity amongst the existing teams,  see Sheff Utd last season.  That means only 2 spaces are up for grabs.  On average, two of the promoted teams go back down - but not always.
We'll know more come December when injuries take effect upon thin squads and they will have played more of the big to medium guns.
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay

WTFF.  Just finished watching local/nat'l news on NBC (not my favorite) and then clicked on the Auburn v Penn State game.  The bottom banner was ABC, but it kept showing baseball/golf scores, WhoTF cares?  A second banner, over the bottom one, proudly proclaimed ABC was rebroadcasting from some ESPN station.  Yay. :eyeroll:
For ten minutes I watched a drive, a TD, a field goal, and a kick to the other team, without seeing which team was which.  Finally saw a closeup of a helmet and realized Auburn were the all-white uniforms (and judging from the crowd its a home game); still don't know who's score is which.
And, finally, the ESPN banner is gone, and I can see the score.  I guess I don't care anymore.  Ready to head into the den and watch cat videos, or maybe clip coupons.  Oooh, Antiques Roadshow is on Saturday nights now?

Playing some opera for the kids.  I saw this today and realized I need to do a better job of exposing the kids to the classics.

@CPFC1905, I'm sorry that Vardy and the refs didn't oblige.  At least you Crystal Palace prediction was spot on.   =)
