Hunkering down in the face of Henri. The eye of the storm is currently projected to go right over our little town.
Are the Eggs inside? Flying debris can do a Humpty. Fill the ice chest if you have time and charge mobile devices and flashlights.
I have a 10 KW military surplus diesel generator with 30 gals of fuel on-hand - power is not an issue. The MM was moved inside, the XL was left as-is in the table.

Storm turned out to be a non-event for us, a few minutes of 50 mph winds, a couple hours of rain, and a couple downed trees in the area.

picked the red tomatoes, looks like we are down to a puddle now

Instantly, I regretted not having the dealer deliver and install.
If you can afford the Wolf, you can probably afford delivery and installation.

    😀

(and holy hell, SonVolt, if you don’t know anything about the gas line, wtf are you installing it yourself?!?)

The troll was dropping that pic into this thread, shitt for brains.  You know everyone tries to avoid politics in this one.  Or maybe you don’t because you don’t read good.

went to boston once to watch a 20 something story building get blown up floor by floor til it all hit the ground. not as impressive as seeing a roof top get blown clear across the merrimack river in lowell at the wide section of dam. big a frame section cleared the river pretty much intact, in flames, maybe 2 am. that was some distance

I meant irrelevant that he may not know NG plumbing, this is a bbq forum, so that knowledge is readily accessible.

Good move.  They definitely won’t have any covid in a Montessori school.

Its only 4 classes and they all enter through their own entrance so its much safer. We got an email last Friday that 1.6% or like 790 kids in our counties public schools had tested positive in the first 2 weeks. No masks requirements until today so you know that number is going up still.

I’ve rebuilt carburetors, changed out mufflers (never again), auto shocks (never again) and have tried to solve computer/network issues on my own, but I’m wise enough now to know when to call in the pros.
I’d always had issues with my wintel machines at work (“please hold, you are caller number…. 37…. In cue”, then the John Phillips Sousa “patriotic” music would play for the next five minutes, finally interrupted by “Please hold, you are caller number…. 37…. In cue”.
Can’t even remember where I was going with this; damn I love retirement.

(Posted, eventually, with a new iPad and attached keyboard, with a loose nut interface; still “figuring it out…”).

That sounds painful man.  I hope the doc is able to help your mom out.

The scoliosis was diagnosed when she was about 10 and she is 86 now, it's just progressed some more. Her energy level is low but she also has had bad arthritis since her late 30's . Fortunately I managed to avoid both of these issues though I did inherit one genetic marker for macular degeneration. She does have a strong immune system, can kick a cold in half the time it takes me.

Lighting the Egg and listening to my neighbor, the covid nurse, talk on her cell phone. She seems to be having a bad day and is ever instructing someone about rotating covid patients in bed or complaining about it. She has been working the covid ward exclusively since the beginning and was the first person in our town to receive a Pfizer dose.
