One of my magnolia trees fell over in a storm and landed on my GF's (at the time) truck.  Beautiful when blooming but prolific in creating ground debris.

Actually had some time and learned how to operate this Horizon Origin router.  This is the first thing I did, played around with the engraving bit.  The graphic, a phallic shaped dildo, didn't convert to SVG format.  Learning the software side is tougher than the tool side.

Anyway, need to work out a few details but I hope to be able to make some custom handles and whatever sometime in the near future.

Is FIFA or the Super League creators focused on saving their cash cow?

I assume FIFA is the villian?
In a unique turn of events that specific corrupt and insidious swamp of an organisation is not front and centre.

In brief, the 'big 6' from the PL plus a few from Italy & Spain - others to be announced, have decided to form their own league.  They will play mid-week and have a fixed roster of teams.   That final part is an anathema to football tradition.  Qualification, trophies, relegation and promotion are fundaments of football.  This has none of them.

The league is entirely separate and therefore UEFA, PL etc are deciding what to do with the 'breakaway' teams.   In a twist of some concern, Boris Johnson has intervened.  He says to prevent it,  we all know it's because he thinks people in the north of England like football and therefore he can shore up his ailing support.

Football, certainly in England and probably elsewhere, operates with a wholly unsustainable business model.  A tiny minority break-even in any given year.  There is a strong tradition of rich men (nearly always men) making a small fortune out of football teams,  having started with a large fortune.

Who knows how this will end up?  The big money comes from broadcasters and they might be circumspect about a league that has limited value to audiences.  If the domestic leagues and even international teams refuse to co-operate with the breakaway teams then they could wither on the vine or at best become a version of the Harlem Globetrotters.  Who are brilliant by the way.  Saw them a few years ago and it was great fun, especially the interval entertainment.
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay

The PL sells broadcast rights collectively, so the clubs share the money with various factors that mean that the 'big' clubs earn more. I guess this is the same in other European leagues. The 'big' clubs think that it's their fan base and their games that bring in the cash, which is then shared out.

The PL was set up to make money from TV rights as a separate entity to the football league within the UK. The top 20 clubs benefit, but at least there's promotion and relegation for the also rans. The Euro league is a logical extension of that mentality, cut out the also rans so the big clubs get to keep all of the cash. Further consolidation of money and power at the top of the game.

It seems that the owners of these teams - several of whom have made money in owning US teams - are betting that a "Man U vs Real Madrid" or "Liverpool vs Barcelona" game will always draw a large number of fans/viewers.  The "worst case scenario" in the 12 teams currently committed to the new league would be "Tottenham vs InterMilan" or "Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid".  The owners are probably right.  No matter how much the fans say they won't support this, I'm pretty sure that when the games show up on the telly loads of people will watch and it will be the most lucrative soccer/football league ever - by far.

All of these clubs have a big fan base outside of Europe as well. The fans there don't care about Sheffield United vs. Crystal Palace (sorry Ed), they want to see Man U vs. Real Madrid.

    Fixed that for you.

Of course if we could bring back the days of Peter Crouch doing the robot that would change everything.

Putting the finishing touches on our compost bin. Nothing previous to this has held so much or lasted very long. No real plan, just borrowed ideas from the internet and kept it simple.
