@botch @SciAggie there's a great show on explosives that I watched the other day.  I'll look it up and let you know what it is (on my DVR), but I think it's Nova or something like it.  I am certain it will be available free online to stream, if Botch can watch on his dial-up is another question (or did you just upgrade?).
    Oh damn, you're cruel!
I've had a 26 Mbps connection for many years now, slow but its the best I have available (besides direct satellite linkup, which is beyond my technical skillset).
It's fine for movies or streaming, for me (and actually have never streamed a full movie, I'm a book guy).  It slowed terribly when @AnusMan posted 248 hi-rez photos of shaving foam, and 156 forum members replied without deleting anything.  I still get grief from that, but it is what it is.

You get grief because now we just get thumbnails.  Lost the abiliity to click a pic and get high rez.  Us old folks with poor eyes can't hardly tell what people are posting now.

So the ink’s not dry on the final table just yet because the bottom 3 did better than expected last week, but there are 14 games to go.  Man City are nailed on though - 10 points clear at the top and showing no signs of easing up.

Lots to get through, so - tonight

Wolves v Leeds, mid-table face off, there’s got to be goals and I am saying 1-2.

    Saturday

Southampton v Chelsea,  Saints in the doldrums and the Blues are hitting their stride 0-2

Burnley v West Brom, the hosts are trudging to safety and the visitors look in perilous condition. 1-0

Liverpool v Everton, a flaccid Merseyside derby in prospect.  Big Jurgy has let go of the crown and this could be a tepid affair.  1-1

Fulham v Sheff Utd, bottom plays almost bottom. 1-0.

Stoke v Luton, the Potters broke their habit and won in mid-week,  is the surge back on?  A win against the Hatters will hurl them back in to play-off contention.  Could it be @Eoin ?  1-0

    Sunday

West Ham v Spurs, the hosts are exceeding all expectations and Spurs are doing a Spurs. Grim encounter, 1-1

Villa v Leicester, two ebullient sides separated by five places and way further up the league than expected.  Could go either way as the Foxes aren’t consistent. 2-3 away win in the dying seconds. 1 red card and 5 yellows.

Arsenal v Man City, Pep pops around to see mini-Pep then leaves with all 3 points.  Routine win 0-3.

Man Utd v Newcastle, on paper a no-frills home win. Both teams are slightly unpredictable even if 15 places apart in the league and Utd are back in to European matches. 1-1.

    Monday

Brighton v Palace,  arriving bang on time as the Eagles slump to new depths of abysmal-ness and still missing star (only?) player Wilf Zaha we have to trudge down the A23 to the filthy Seagulls. And they are unbeaten in the last 5.  Best we can hope for is an earthquake or power failure to get the game cancelled to sustain any dignity.  12-0 probably.  B*llocks. Big furry ones.

    Tuesday

Leeds v Southampton,  lots of fun and mishaps for a run of the mill 4-2 home win.

That’s you lot and don’t forget to dial in for the speakeasy with @lousubcap tonight.

Today I stumped H&R Block.  We sold Mom's house in December, the money went into her trust of which I'm the executor.  Sis and I will split up the trust after a year's gone by, but a tax form was generated.  The lady at Block needed to research how to add that "income", etc, so I'm going back Monday.

Was also happy to learn that Block can help me with property and rental income tax forms on property I now own in Minnesota.

I picked up a DigiQ many moons ago at a garage sale for $25 minus the fan. Which wasn't any big deal because I'd just steal my fan off my Auber Instruments controller. My brother-in-law picked up a Kamado Joe and I ended up giving him my Auber Instruments controller with the fan.

@GregW ended up hooking me up with a DigiQ fan housing plate and vent plate a few years back. I had intentions of making a replacement fan but I ended up receiving a PartyQ fan controller when I bought my buddies Bubba Keg from him. So I've used that the last couple years with my egg. I finally got sick and tired of having to buy batteries to run it every time I wanted to use it. So I ended up purchasing a small fan and barrel jack cord to solder together to make a working fan for the DigiQ.

It's a hack job and I'm very much an amateur when it comes to soldering but I was able to get it together enough to have a working fan once again. Which will be nice for a little piece of mind for overnight cooks.

Thanks again GregW for the assist. Very much appreciated!

Saw this today.  Bad deal, bikes were headed to a memorial run.  We were at a barrel race and this happened about 75 yards from the practice arena on the freeway (75+ mph)

Dinner, a bit early in the season, but so good.

    What is that, 1#?

How bad did they get you for em? Just curious as Lent is getting into swing and the cold plague just drove the mud bugs underground and the price up

Living in the desert, I will take what I can get.  We usually go to New Orleans every few years (wife's hometown), but COVID hosed that up this year

Yeah, it was probably 1# and had andouie, corn and potatoes too.  It was $19.99.  honestly, would have gladly spent $50...felt good.

Current market here is $34-40 for 5# with a corn and a couple of red potatoes. Can get really pricy if you’re hungry. Farmers getting anywhere from $3.50-4.50/# live right now. It’s crazy
