@The Cen-Tex Smoker - yes it is.  They really trim them up nicely before shipping although this one had around better than 1.5 lbs more  of hard fat compared to the previous one.  And let the record show, this cook got underway after the watering hole closed up this AM.  (Fired the BGE fire a few hours earlier).  It does pass the pic test-real judging in a few hours as I lope some of to deliver to my son and some neighbors.  Thanks for asking.
Can’t wait for the results. The steak I had on my breakfast taco this morning was Heartbrand New York strip that was left over from
last night’s dinner. That stuff is so good.

The ones in my pics i posted earlier are one that my wife found online.  They weren’t too expensive and super easy to put together.  Took me like 10 mins to assemble.

I’d appreciate it. She wants cedar boxes, and prices online were ridiculous for the quality. I can build better boxes for cheaper.

But if I can convince her to go with some other kind, I might still win =)

I have a squirrel looking for a new home. I think he would be very happy there. Loves tomatoes and long walks on the beach.

@The Cen-Tex Smoker Cool. I have a miniature asado cross that should hold a squirrel nicely. Served with some garden fresh veggies and herbs - yum!

Yes they are. @Acn Little to no haze for the win! Loving the pictures-keep them coming!
Thanks!  I will keep them coming, although today is mostly just going to be driving from Moab up to Jackson, WY.  We’re planning on putting in 10 miles in the Tetons tomorrow.
Careful in there. We were on a small hike not far in and came across this local.

Wife and I froze where we were and watched her for a bit. She took slow steps toward us as we stood there with little motion. Then out of nowhere, she did a bluff charge for about 15 feet. No clearing of the nostrils, no front hoof stomp, just a look up and a couple quick straps our way.   She was saying “Get the hell out of here” and that is what we did. Scared the crap out of us.  We got out of there and did not even take a stroll the rest of the day.  Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the heads up.  Going to the western mountains in Maine, I’ve encountered my share of moose.  We do have bear spray to keep with us; I kept it hidden so my wife didn’t use it to enforce social distancing in rest areas on our way out.

@caliking @Hook_emHornsfan_74 Just for comparison- my raised beds use 32 concrete blocks and are topped with 64 bricks (I already had them). So that makes the beds around $60 for the cinder blocks plus the bricks. I have no memory what they cost me. This is a 4’ x 8’ bed (exterior dimensions)

You win for sure on the labor issue. Beds like yours are attractive for sure. The main reason we made these beds is because I had enough material on hand for the first two. Raised bed gardening has been fun so far.
