@Ozzie_Isaac My Beautiful Wife and I bought an (turn of the 20th century home. We have added polyurethane insulation, doors, windows, roof, siding, you name it, and totally worth the investment.
When it comes to retrofitting, previously retrofitted plumbing, it is a disaster worthy of a FEMA intervention.
After the under sink fiasco, extremely similar to your experience, except with something tremendously much more simple, a faucet change out, I have decided to totally rebuild the kitchen.
Wish us luck."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

@YukonRon good luck! Everytime I tear into something I find something I do not like. I have a hard time learning when to stop.

Made some bread this morning. The 5 minute bread was good but the overnight white in flour water salt yeast comes out much better for me. Can't stop eating it.
