@northGAcock That’s what we do, rignt? Make jerky out of the good stuff. Cook ox tails, shanks, cheeks, and innerds for supper.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

@Gulfcoastguy Some bad weather headed towards you. We just got hail and wind. Every thing on our porch was knocked over and/or destroyed. Need to check the house for broken windows.

Sorry to hear that. I know you were keen on working for a smaller outfit when you started. I’m confident that you’ll find a better gig than what you have. Folks are paying a premium for top talent in today’s market.DMW said:Looking for a new job.

Good luck @DMW I thought you liked this newer gig. Though I guess it is not that new anymore. Guess I was wrong. Hopefully you find the right fit sooner rather than later. As @DoubleEgger said, it is an employee market. Our company can’t find decent devs at a mutually acceptable rate with the interviewees.--------------------------------------------------

Funny you say that. They announced school closures before the first flake dropped. Tomorrow morning is going to be worse with it being 17 in the morning. This town shuts down.TN_Egger said:What is this white stuff? Close the schools! Run on the grocery stores!Midland, TX XLBGE -

Sorry to hear that @abtaylor260. I know how much they are part of the family. Sound like you made the responsible (although very hard) decision.--------------------------------------------------

I have been at that crossroad before. Everytime I changed it has only gotten better for myself and my family.
Take your time....pick what fits your family.
Take some time away.

They were marinated in Maurice’s Gold sauce this afternoon. Smells great. Time to flip and sip.
