Wife is out working tonight so I did the obvious thing and made a bbq chicken pizza for myself.
Obviously, Robin was not around. There is chicken on that pizza.

I would be remiss if I did not share ..... John's pizzas are, at the very least, as good, and likely better, than any we had while in Italy.

    Man can sling some pie.

It's hit or miss... the best ones are always the big named ones, like the BTK etc. If you really give your head a spin, check out the episode on Peter Skully (and don't google anything about him)... It's so dark I almost had to turn it off. It stuck with me for days...

What a mind trip.

It can be a lot of fun! It is definitely more fun if you can get some buddies involved. I started off with cheap gear and hunted for a few years so I could figure out what best suits my needs (and to see if I even enjoyed the sport) then upgraded gradually to more quality stuff. Regardless of how you approach it, duck hunting can become addictive! Oh, and breakfast in the blind is one of my favorite parts of the sport haha.

Looks like you had a lot of fun! Jealous of the green wings for sure, those are beautiful. What part of Arkansas?? Our hunting crew took a trip to Arkansas mid January, we did not have the best experience. We booked with what we thought was a quality outfitter since it was our first trip of the sort but after arrival things snowballed in a hurry. We had to hunt 10 deep in a blind for two hunts and on the second hunt we didn't have a duck come within 400 yards, we tried to go to the first blind the second day but the water had risen 3 ft overnight and we couldn't get in. Anyhow, I did get my first green head during that trip and I had a lot of fun hanging out with my hunting buddies!

A week away from all the fun - but nothing’s changed as Liverpool zero in on an emphatic league title.  They could have it wrapped up by the two-thirds stage of the season.

Here’s what’s coming your way this weekend.

We start with a dip in to the championship with Stoke who travel to unorthodox accounting enthusiasts, Derby County - who are replete with one-way ticket to the MLS dodger Wayne Rooney.  Stoke are on fire and Derby are unpopular.  Come on The Potters, do the right thing and win 0-2.

    A bumper crop of eight matches in the PL on Saturday;

    Lunchtime : Leicester v Chelsea,  3rd v 4th.  Should be a decent game - recent form suggests a home win. 2-1

Proper o’clock :  Big game at the bottom as Villa go to Bournemouth.  Both are in desperate need of points, the hosts are falling like a stone in a burst balloon on top of a piano tumbling down the stairs.  Villa could import clear air between themselves and the relegation dog-fight.  A feisty one, 1-2 the Villa.

Palace welcome Sheff Utd, we will be played through and concede one goal in each half.  Whether Palace can either prevent that or score twice will dictate if they get any points. On the fence,  2-2.

Liverpool will beat (probably) Southampton.  The Saints are re-born after a calamitous first half fo the season but this is Liverpool. 2-0 home win.

Newcastle & Norwich will serve up a right load of bilge.   The travelling Canaries really really need points.  They’ll get a goal but not much more. 2-1 Toon.

Watford v Everton has snooze-fest stamped all over it.  Both have improved recently, but I really want the Toffees to win 1-0 to burst the Watford bubble.  Thats as scientific as this gets afetrall. 1-0 home win.

West Ham v Brighton - two teams in a bit of a funk.  Any outcome possible and the Hammers certainly need points to stem the inexorable slide down the table.  1-1 and dull as ditch-water

Tea-time : Man Utd host Wolves and should get a hiding.  Money Pit United are in a heap of chaos, not aided by the occasional glimpse of quality.  The Portuguese ex-pats at Wolves are doing just great.  I reckon 1-2 and the boys in gold take the glory.

Sunday : lunchtime sees Arsenal go up to Burnley, traditionally anywhere ‘northern’ was an anathema to the London fancy-dans.   Neither team are sparkling right now.  1-1, both penalties.

Tea-time : Spurs v Man City.   The hosts are struggling to find an identity and I assume the visitors are focussing on the Champions League - they ain’t getting close to the PL title.   City have enough to overcome Jose’s defence and will win 2-1.

That’s your lot.  But I see its Super Bowl time again.

I have Googled it and now know this is the game when the lads dressed as spacemen whisper secrets to each other,  then bump in to the other heavily padded fellas and Shakira sings at half-time, right?

Looks a lot of fun, but does it really need nearly 5 hours?

OK, cricket can last 35 hours, but that’s all non-stop scintillating action.   =)

Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay
