wouldnt worry about it. pretty sure ive insulted the deep south, florida, texas, the mid west, all of canada, france. when i say deep south i include every state south of boston

It doesn't keep the ice cold. The melt is recycled into new ice. We'll likely use it a few times a week to make a batch and then stash it in the freezer

I wouldn’t give it too much more thought @smokingal. You’ve thoroughly apologized, which more than make up for any perceived slight, in my books. Some are rather quick to call foul, IMO.

Meanwhile, back at the egg...I cooked two pork loins, with a friend, for a vestry party this evening. One was SPG and we put bourbon, honey glaze on when temp got to 135° IT. The other we rubbed with DP Pineapplehead. Pulled both at 145, FTC and served two hours later. They turned out pretty well!
