After a heafty injection of butter and crab boil, and a little cayenne rub for good measure, away she goes into 400 degree oil. This bad boy should be some kind of HOT!! Just how I like them.

Hey Scottie, I know you profess to really put it away, but are you feeding a small army? My lord, to be your neighbor!

Brother, for all of my bull$hit, I really can out eat 4 or 5 normal people. If Nola was still here, he could vouch for me as he has witnessed me eat many times. I can really put down some grub my friend.pgprescott said:Hey Scottie, I know you profess to really put it away, but are you feeding a small army? If I read the rules correctly, it's a two person team eating a 11 pound pizza. If that is indeed the case, I could without question or doubt eat my 5.5 pounds worth. I don't know if I could eat all 11 pounds by myself as I have been really trying to cut back on how much I eat for the past several months. But I feel that I probably could on a good day. I would defiantly be willing to give it a shot.DoubleEgger said:Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Had neighbors over for dinner. Cooked a 2lb 13oz 45 day dry aged bone-in ribeye. Didn't bother with a sear at the end, just went indirect until it was right. Also made baked potatoes, a few sausages that I just winged the seasoning on, and some tube steaks for the kiddos that don't care. Here's the only pic I got of that. The crusty fat from the steak was nuts. I think I need an angioplasty now.

Oh, and the Eagles beat the Pats, that was unexpected, but nice.
Neighbor brought fresh baked bread and lemon bars. Both were excellent. Here's a pic of my lemon bar.
Now I'm watching football. I really like Sundays that turn out like this.They/Them

Took a great vacation to Maui a few years ago. I made a point to go out of our way and stop for one day on Oahu to visit the site with our children. Extremely moving.DoubleEgger said:Fair Winds and Following Seas #neverforget

I remember visiting the memorial at around 9 years old. Watching the drips of oil floating to the surface from the USS Arizona brought an immediacy to history.

I was transferred to Japan when my company started a new joint venture with a Japanese company during the late 1980's. As we shared family information, I found it surreal to discover that several of my Japanese counterparts had fathers who were trying to kill my father ... and vise versa. We shared a few drinks in celebration of the failure of each others father to complete their assignments.
So today, I'm pondering once again how we're all where we are now because of strange twists of fate in our past and that of our ancestors.

If you look up @Thatgrimguy original post, The Blackstone is Legit, he did a great write up on how he seasoned it. It was pretty in depth if memory serves.Ozzie_Isaac said:Trying to figure out a good method to season it. Thinking avacado oil then some bacon.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
