A little joint up the road sells these cat head biscuits. Five pieces of bacon makes everything better.

The complimentary Cook's Country I just got in the mail has a recipe for "North Carolina Cheese Biscuits", they were "cat head" biscuits but with a fistful of "hoop" cheese baked into the center (CC used easier-to-find med cheddar).
Are you in NC, @DoubleEgger?  I don't usually bake but these look good.

Been making a lot of ground turkey lately for my week lunches. 3lbs of Costco organic ground turkey, ghee, Costco’s no salt seasoning, some dizzy dust, and 2 eggs. Charcoal basket on each side of the Summit with grill grates in the middle running 350 with apple wood for smoke. Literally 3 handfuls of turkey plopped onto the grill grates and pulled st 160. Did veggies in the house to mix in with this.

Ice fishing on a clear but bitter cold day
You are fishing. I was going to say it looks like a fantastic day.
But you said it was a “bitter cold” day.
    That causes me to pause.
I am willing to bet MY idea of bitter cold is different than YOUR idea of bitter cold.
