There was a lot of trash talking, especially after the Southern University of Central Kentucky (otherwise known as SUCKY) lost to LSU earlier in the evening.

Operation homemade baby food is in full effect.

Not pretty pics, but the avocado and apple purées were quick and easy.

Sweet Potatoes, butternut squash and carrots cooked SV until tender, then puréed and put in ice cube trays for easy single portion sizes.

BattleDog is feeling extra lovely on this random Thursday in February. Only problem, he needs a bath and refuses to get off the couch. That should make SWMBO happy when she gets home

Its OK, its OK, its OK - clam down everyone. NO PL this weekend but the FA cup begins to get relevant.
The 5th Round means that the smart clubs have got out in order to get a free weekends, the top clubs are now too far in to lose against much a lower club without major embarrassment and those very same lower clubs are in for big pay-days.

We get underway with QPR hosting Watford.  QPR stands for Queens Park Rangers - no-one knows why or where that came from, just roll with it.  They are going OK in the second tier.  Watford are PL and unpopular.  I hope they lose - albeit it is the only likelihood of them getting anything meaningful out of the season and might try hard. A late 2-1 home win would be just dandy.

    Tomorrow we have,
at lunchtime the stagnated Brighton hosting ‘Frank Lampard’s Derby County’ - you might have heard of Frankie as he took the dollar a few years back.  Anyhoo - he was one the notorious under-performing golden generation, along with yer man Becks from Miami.  Enough of that guff, as above in terms of status.  Lets go bananas and go for a 3-0 to Derby.  Probably do Brighton a favour.

Then AFC Wimbledon ‘welcome’ Millwall.  This should be rip-snorting stonker.  There is too little time to explain the background to each club,  but it’ll be fiery - albeit probably in the pubs outside the ground.  I would strongly recommend you YouTube; Crazy Gang, or Vinnie Jones & Gazza, or Millwall fans.  Probably a 1-0 - but lets hope for 9-7 bonanza - although that's more likely the card count.

Newport County (who???) entice the fancy-dan lardy-dah Man City on to their rugby pitch.  It is actually a rugby pitch.  Sadly the weather will not be Wales standard horizontal rain.  The teams are separated by the minor matter of 82 places across the professional four leagues of 92 teams.   We’d love it to go to penalties (no replays in this round) and Man City fluff it.  So lets say the welshies to win 9-8 on penalties after extra time.  (Man City will win 5-0, though)

On to Sunday - lunchtime Wolves go to Bristol city.  This will go with status and Wolves will deliver a clinical 2-0.  They have come up to the PL and done very well.  They could go all the way to the final.

Up North to Yorrrrrrrrrkshire and Doncaster Rovers lie in wait for the mighty Palace.  Much money to be earned by Donny - possibly £500k if things go well - and thats big cash for them.  That same money covers the weekly wage of three of Palace's highest earners.  I am loathed to say it, but Palace have created many many chances all season and failed to convert them.  So lets go 3-0 the Eagles.

Brentford go west to Wales, visiting Swansea.  Both teams would have much preferred bigger opposition for the money.  One of them will now go out to that lesser opposition and rue the missed pay day.  Home win, 2-1.

Monday (finally it ends…) the glamour tie is Man U - fresh off Ole’s first defeat, popping down to London to see Chelsea - who are frankly falling apart.  Can't see past a Man U win here as Chelsea seem to have forgotten literally everything.to do with football.

In  he real world, Stoke - hot off a 0-0 mid week, go to Ipswich who are rock bottom and awful.  Finally a good win for the Potters I think.  But invoking the @Eoin edict, 3-0 to the Tractor boys.
Other girls may try to take me away

Awesome looking brother. I have always wanted to boil a lobster in the same spice mix that I use for shrimp and crawfish. For some reason I have always talked myself out of it. How did you like it compared to plain boiled lobster ?

I liked it much better than the plain salt water boil or steaming.  Made the boil extra strong because the lobster is only in it for 8 to 10 minutes.
