As the evening advances please remember the thread here and act appropriately.  No need to burn this on a random "dumb -hit" post.

No forum police here (and no kick-back) but just looking to remind those here.  FWIW-Off to LEO!

Got a happy jolt watching the news tonight.  Because I was in class this past week, hadn't seen my Outlook calendar and didn't realize this coming Monday is a guv'mint holiday, YAY!  Tonight's not the first night of a 3-day weekend, but the first night of a 4-day weekend!  That also clears me to stay up past my bedtime on Sunday night, and photograph the apogee/super/blood/wolf/ buffalo/century/OMGWTFBBQ moon, providing the snowstorms leave a breach and I'm still awake.

Watching (on TV) Ron Pratt pay $400k for a Corvette at Barrett and then giving it back to be auctioned for charity again. The Rutland game is strong my friends.

@DoubleEgger no wonder @SGH was always commenting about having Ron's money...imagine the shaving gear and overalls with that $$...;)

Thinking I got really lucky.  We have been meaning to redo our very dated upstairs bathrooms. Problem is everything is fine, just dated and we really do not want/desire/need a major remodel, just update everything. We have been delaying for years.  This morning my wife said she herd a pop and then looked up to see a spark come from the overhead light.

Yea yea  fluorescent.... like I said, it needs major updating. I took off the decorative cover, disconnected the electric, took off the shield and took the light down to see this:

Updating just got moved way to the top of the list.

@DMW- great looking brisket.  Nailed the bark and got quite a ring.  Enjoy!

Best looking meat I've seen at Kroger in a long time.  Reloaded my Black Ops a couple weeks ago and decided to get the Gold pack sample rub from Oakridge while I was at it. First time using Dominator and it tastes awesome.
