    @theyolksonyou - looks like some serious wrenching to get the cars ready for the track.   I'm way beyond that age group but it looks like ever closing in on reality.  They just may have a handle on driving when the driverless cars become mainstream.  (Always head to the track for the real deal I guess.)
    Merry Christmas-

  • @lousubcap that Chinese engineering was nearly the death of me.

  • The real driver is involved now and I feel like he needs a helmet.

    We’re all full of turkey and a gnats wing from throttling other family members, but salvations is at hand.  A full PL card today;

    Therefore,  today i will be mostly consuming smoked turkey while observing;

    Fulham being tight at the back and playing out a 1-1 draw with Wolves.
    Burnley seeking to finally get their party started.  fancy a sneaky 2-1 for them against the Toffees.
    Palace face former manager Neil Warnock’s Cardiff.  We beta City, they got humped by Utd - last time out.  'Typical Palace’  0-0 today.
    Leicester and their fickle squad face the wrath of City.  Vardy’s a doubt. 2-0 the Manc’s
    Table topping Scousers host the Toon.  Routine 3-0 for Jurgen’s flyers.  No happy homecoming for Rafa
    Utd will beat huddersfield.  Not as convincingly as Ole’s bounce-back last week.  2-0.
    Spurs and Bournemouth will be fun.  Visitors need to get their groove back on and the win over the filthy seagulls will give them some pep and zing.  2-2.
    Arsenal head south to the Amex.  They will smash Brighton 48-0.  Or 2-1 - more likely.
    Watford host a wonder Chelsea.  Sarri will have had words and they need to bust their 60 minute hex.  Watford are volatile but not a great team.  Chelsea find a way to grind it out. 1-0.

    @Eoin 's Surging Stoke have a local 6 pointer at the Blue noses.  Tough to call, therefore 1-1 from me.

    Happy Boxing Day!

    Other girls may try to take me away
    But you know, it's by your side I will stay

    @nolaegghead - I recognize you have many skill-sets but getting that pic at that speed is way up there.  Whenever I'm running in the three digit mode I definitely have both hands on the wheel.  Of course I am much older.

    You betcha. Audi A6 Wagon. Still had plenty of pedal left. I ran out of road.

    My Camaro speedo pegs out at 120mph. I have counted to six before the needle started moving. That’s with a three speed transmission too.

    I was on one of those private toll roads between San Antonio and Austin where there's almost no traffic an holding those speeds for long time.

    Fastest I've been in my car is 150, for a brief moment, and I definetely had both hands on the wheel chasing a Saleen Mustang.  I gave him a run for his money but he had the faster car.
    I ran a few laps at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in a SL55 and a e55 a few years back. Most of the street cars are governed at 169 so my fuel pumps shut down at 170 but still a blast. Got yelled at for passing the pace car a couple of times.

    Fellows have you ever had a total brain glitch due to being busy? After all the underground cooking, turkey frying and gumbo making yesterday, I totally forgot about the shrimp. I went to finish the cleaning up this morning and look what I left sitting in the cooler marinading in milk. 10 pounds of shrimp. They have been sitting in milk for over 36 hours. Oh well, guess it’s shrimp for supper tonight.

    The day gets pretty busy, sounds you had a pretty good feed without them . Could be worse. You could be noticing this for the first time--a few days from now.
