Had two 70+ foot tall pine trees in the backyard.   They are spaced about 10ft apart.  The top 15 feet came off the top of the left tree.  Came down taking most of the limbs below it with it.  And ALL the branches on the left side of the tree on the right.  Went out there today when I got off work to see it in daylight.  So many limbs on the ground and on top of each other.  Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend.
@YEMTrey, do yourself a favor and get one of these. This one has an extra extension you won’t need if everything is on the ground. It’s a Stihl Kombi motor with the chainsaw limb cutter attachment. It is the real deal. You won’t be bending over all day with a heavy chainsaw killing your back. It has a 12” bar which is just right for limbing felled trees.

Nothing like the smell of petrol running down you forearm swinging one of these around above your head.
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay

Puzzling over a letter I received today from Weber State University.  It asked me to fill out a "Form W-9S", Request for Student's or Borrower's Taxpayer ID and Certification (included).  Letter states that "Our records indicate that you may have tuition charges or other payments that may be reportable to the IRS for the 2018 tax year".
I did take a couple short courses from them (Photoshop with no loaded software in the students' computers, and a Landscaping course that I hedged my bets on), but I don't want to give them my SSN for a couple of $50 courses.

Does this ring a bell for any of you?

I would call the Registrar on Monday and see what they say. By your description of the courses, I wouldn't think that it meets a reporting requirement.
But then again I am not a tax guru.

  • @Botch thanks. Time crunch getting a decent photo of a scallop. That was actually by accident. Apparently my phone has a setting called “portrait stage light” and I had enough bourbon to accidentally fat finger over to it

Man I haven't tried most of the ones in their "attainable" list.  I'll have to correct that...
