I got a call from my sister who asked if I was interested in going to some haunted houses out on a farm. Not my thing but she had someone bail out very last minute so I figured why not. So I went with.
The very first haunted house we went in I lost my sister and her friend. They got spooked and ran way ahead of me. I should have probably grabbed my glasses that I'm supposed to wear at night. I couldn't see a dang thing in the haunted house since they ran off. So I was on my own. I literally started walking into walls since I couldn't see anything. I finally found the dang door in the dark. So I opened the door and continued on. Next thing I hear from the zombies is, "That's the fire exit get back in here!" Are you serious?!!! I honestly can't see anything. So they guide me a few feet and turn me down another dark hall. So I make my way down the hall and make a few turns. I end up in a black light lit 3d room that looked exactly like the room I went through a few minutes earlier. I couldn't tell if this was meant to mess with my mind intentionally or that I was freaking lost again and went through another wrong door. Sure enough I'm walking into the back of monsters meant to scare people coming in the correct direction. Son of a.....
My sister and her friend had a good laugh when I finally made it out. What a cluster. My plan for the night was sitting down and having a glass of whiskey. Instead I get lost in a haunted house. The things you do for family!

I'd like to say there was some deep meaning behind the name selection, but my son googled "Boston Terrier names" and he liked Winston, and so did the rest of us. But Churchill or Smith work.They/Them

They would be a good consolation prize for me - along with his Bloody Marys's.Just got back from the Scenic City Eggfest in Cleveland Tn and had a remarkable good time. Many cooks, good food, a really nice venue, nicely stocked store area and reasonably close by (2hrs). May have to work this one in next year. You guys have a good time.
