It will be on the XL, Ball park idea on a round about cook time @ 225/250 dome?
Do yourself a favor and shoot for 265-300.  Especially if you aren't running a controller.
for me i shoot for 14 hours with 7 to 8 pound butts but i cheat by either raising or lowering temps around the 10 hour mark. i try to run 235 to 250. with 45 pounds i would add a few hours just in case but i did two 8 pound briskets and two 8 pound butts in 0ne cook,  32 pounds total in a large with 14 hours on the butts and 12 hours on the flats
    You guys are the best,

That's a full load on a large. Wow.

From the GE folks that brought us the home pellet ice maker (which I bought and LOVE).  This one is for the bakers.  Interesting idea.

Just searched their website for the first time in a while and they've also created this ventless open pizza oven also.  Pretty cool stuff.

Interesting that they're advertising it with a smoke lite.  I use mine so frequently that I can't even remember where it is...

He almost popped some tires there!  He did touch down with the upwind tire first, but didn’t take out enough of the “crab” before putting down his nose wheel.  But still, a massive crosswind.

Brave passengers on that airplane :)

Do have to wonder what the interior smelled like when they got to the gate. :)

Ha!  Yeah, it was just to raise the chicken. Wait, that still sounds bad, especially after the ball comment.
  • Replay has definitely slowed the game down. Ultimately we want the right call to be made as it was done originally here.

May want to keep an eye on the perimeter. On my XL, as the cook proceeds, I need to put tinfoil on the outer edge to keep from burning any protein extended past the stone/plate setter.
