Thanks. It's a '78 Standard - made in Tennessee (my homestate) the year I was born. Always planned to will it to my son one day, but he's showing left hand affinity. He has no idea how much of a burden this will be as a guitar player, lol. Everything he'll ever want will have to be a special order.

Thought so. Great vintage. Hopefully you’ve introduced him to the greatest lefty so far, Jimi. Will make the special orders and backwards strung ones worth it. Thanks. Sad where Gibson has been as of late.

I did buy an American Standard Strat in 2015 the year he was born, so I guess he can string it upside down one day ala Jimi.

Yep, very said on Gibson. Hopefully someone swoops in and saves them from themselves.

No worries. His fallback can be MLB pitcher.

The first chargrilled oysters of my 49 yrs. Will not be my last...
Had those in NOLA, completely changed my life. On that day, I saw them on the menu. I tried a dozen for an appetizer. They were so good, I got another dozen for my entree. Did not stop there, when dessert orders were taken, I ordered another dozen.
Made a fool out of myself. Worth it too.
Those look delicious. They will not be your last.

    Congratulations.

Big step dad, you can do this.....she looks happy and confident.

Now you can sit up all hours worrying about your daughter and calling her several times a night, just to "check in" to make sure she is ok....

I did that when ours started driving.

Everytime I heard a siren in the distance, I would call, just to be sure. Then I would be so mad when she answered the phone while driving...I was a mess...

Hope it is better for you.

I’m in Tonawanda New York for work for the week and was recommended Duffs wings. They are pretty good.
The original Duffs in Buffalo is a must stop when I am there on business. I used some of their sauce one time in a wing competition. Took first place and there was bitterness in the air. My favorite wings in the world.

In recovery....talked with the surgeon, all went very well. She will be good as new in a few days, just got to keep her on the fine line of activity and rest. Keeping her resting will be the hardest part....
