All the best to your boy Focker.

If they're going to drive that beast around, the out to serve frybread and corndogs out one side.  With all the waiting around for medical stuff, it seems like a missed revenue stream.

Just celebrated (acknowledged) our 47th - not counting all the time since we have known each other since 2nd grade - and she didn't like me in HS.  Decided that since we downsized (sort of) to a new house about 30 miles from our old one we'd try to make our time together count more.  So, decided to fix an appetizer of prosciutto with melon and goat cheese, a little flatiron steak with a salad (greens, red onion, toasted pecans, melon, vinaigrette and tennshootoe), asparagus with prosciutto, sweet potato with butter and Braswells cinnamon chipotle rub, then for dessert grilled peaches with goat cheese, @bgebrent (Nichole's) Dawsonville honey, creme fraiche and toasted pecans.  Had a bottle of bubbly to get started, now into a bottle of Zin - probably an earlier night (sleeping) than 47 years ago.

Don't post much, but have been into the vino so why not.  Plating isn't much, but I'm a retired accountant - debits and credits only - just eat.

Was going to make @bgebrent 's potato encrusted halibut - but was told in no uncertain terms that if I so much as looked at a mandolin ever again, i'd lose more than a finger tip.  So, she got steak.  And I have a bottle of Zin.

Great cook Henry.  Happy anniversary brother!  Enjoy the early settle down.

    You sir are a champion.
Of course the cook is spectacular, but taking the time to make number 47 as important as the first, gives you hero status with me.
We may not live long enough to celebrate our 47th, but if we do, I hope I have the opportunity to make it just as nice as yours.
Please give her our best, and never forget she is, and always will be your best friend.
Congratulations my brother. The world is a better place with you all a part of it.
    Our best.

@alaskanassasin That Central Grocery olive salad is good schtuff.  Watch out for pits.

I tried making my own muffaletta bread once, complete fail.  I don't give up easily, but it's easy to find here.  Some things you can't make better than the pros.
