Other brands have tried to capitalize on Fischer's success; he's often credited with making the kamado grill popular in America. You can find less expensive "fakes" nearly everywhere grills are sold: Yes, even on Amazon - and yes, in colors other than green."

Neither one of us knew that there was a lifetime warranty.Within four months we had replaced the band, firebox, and fire ring under warranty, when I called them with a cracked base 3 weeks ago they asked for a receipt. During the original purchase the teller never said "hang on to this you will need it for your lifetime warranty".Long story short the manager of the store was able to look through December purchases and find it.South of Columbus, Ohio.

That's the camper from the rear seat. Left hand drive, I imported it from California to avoid rust. Everything else was worn out though! Fully restored now. 1972 Westfalia.
For $2,000 I bought a '77 my first year in Albuquerque, NM; commuted with it, music gigs on weekends with half the band's equipment, and even a lot of ski trips (as long as I wasn't in a hurry to get up the mountain!)
Over five years, I did oil changes and dropped an $850 clutch into Her. When the Air Force decided to send me to sunny Grand Forks, ND, I decided a heater would be nice and sold Her. For $2,000.
I miss Her.___________"When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the sun is about to set."

Amy is discussing the war against ants with the dog. Also suggested we get an aardvark for a pet. I’m getting worried about her burning down the house.

I was able to get the Mitsubishi alternator rebuilt today from a shop in St. Paul. Out the door for $80. I'm happy about that. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Going to hold off and finish it tomorrow. I'll feel better putting a new belt on it which I don't have at the moment. I'm ready for this soap opera to be done!

Just got back home from dinner with new friends relocated from the north. I had crystal scollops, the wife had butterflied tenderloin . Not really sure what the they had.
The real winner was the pineo that was poured in a glass that was full to the top. The waitress had to "almost " put her finger in the glass to keep it from spilling over "you southern guys know what I mean". Thank goodness Cindy was driving. At the very least they may understand were not THAT redneck here in NC. https://www.allmenus.com/nc/salisbury/210311-chef-santos/menu/Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Talk about a poor design , I had a mazda protege once. Good car for our new driver. When I went to work on the beast, I would scrape my knucles on the driveway just to get that part out of the way. I finially resorced the mechanic work out to save my sanity and hands

Watched a n old Caterpillar D2 start up in the barn. You had to pull the cord on a gasoline two cylinder engine to get the diesel engine warmed up enough to start. The gas engine was a wrapped cord pull."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
