Is the EGGToberfest being discussed here the one in Atlanta on Oct 11? Unfortunately can't make that date but it sounds fun. After the whole Brisket Camp in NOLA thread I am dying to go to an Egg event.

I would suggest egging in the mountains as a great fest to attend. Its May in Hiawassee Georgia. Its big enough to have 100 plus cooks but not too big like eggtoberfest. I have cooked at both a couple times and we do better cooks at egging in the mountains just cause its more laid back and less people waiting in line. People will literally stand around waiting in line when there's stuff they really want to try and its alot of pressure. We spent $500 on food for last eggtoberfest and only had a couple tenderloins left to cook at the end.
