2nd Cook - Paella!

Finished my second cook on the LBGE today with Paella for lunch. This dish made me excited to buy the egg in the first place. I was super happy with the result. I got the recipe from 'Paella!: Spectacular Rice Dishes From Spain' by Penelope Casas. I also ordered a bunch of the "hard to get" ingredients from Amazon, including: Calasparra rice, Spanish saffron, and smoked Spanish paprika. As far as local ingredients, I used - chicken, squid, chorizo from Spain (not Mexican), prawns, and mussels. Highly recommend! Oh, and I used a 14" carbon steel paella pan from paella pans.com

That's an ambitious dish for your second cook, but it looks like you nailed it!   :-bd

Wow that looks delicious and the pic belongs on a magazine cover.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
