Decided to cook some rib-eye steaks tonight on the egg, along with a baked potato and grilled vegetables. Did a simple seasoning on the meat of oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Pulled the steaks when the thermapen read 135. Very happy.

Looks really good!

Looks good. What temp did you use? Rest & then sear? Or just straight up cook on the grid and flip?LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Great steak my friend... Good cook.

Thanks @SGH @Keefer and @anzyegg
@NPHuskerFL I cooked the steaks at 500 grid level, about 550 dome. I seared first over the coals for about 2-3 mins a side with the lid closed. Internal temp was about 110 at this point. Then I added the 24" grid to the top of the woo2 and finished them away from the coals until they hit 135. I forgot to take a picture of the last step.
I'm not sure if this is the best way to do steaks on the BGE, but since I am a long time (about 10 years) weber one touch gold user, it made the most since to me for now haha.

Nice lookin steaks and veggies! My kinda meal!

I cook my steaks at 700 for 2 minutes a side, pull to the side, seal the vents and let go for another 3 to 4. It is always medium unless the steaks are really thick. I don't go by temp, just color and feel. I put on veggies at the last 4 minutes and they done too. Let rest for 5 minutes or so while everyone gets to the table. They look good to me.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

Steaks look great. The biggest problem I had was over cooking them and making them tuff. Now I cook them quicker and pull them before I dry them out. This is really an experience learning to cook on the egg.Gulf Coast FL
