Thanks for the Summertime song! Up here in the northeast we spend 7 months waiting for the 4 or 5 months we get to spend on the boat, in the lake, swimming with the kids and grand kids, grilling a butt on the BGE and enjoying a cool beverage. This song will be blasting on the boat this summer for sure!

Does everyone know that Conway Twitty had a burger chain that failed in 1971? Well, he did and here is the recipe for his burger. Since Mr Twitty is only here to spread his vitriol and hate speech, I'll post something cooking related in an effort to redeem his reputation. 

TWITTY BURGER 
4 oz. patty ground sirloin 
1 large pineapple ring 
Graham cracker crumbs 
Shortening 
2 slices bacon, fried crisp 
1 (5-inch) hamburger bun 
Mayonnaise
