We landed at CDG in Paris this morning, rented a car and drove the back roads of France to a village close to Bourne, the very center of the wine region of Burgandy.

The area is close to Dijon, and the bright yellow flowers of mustard are in full bloom covering 1000's of acres of lush fields.

We are here for our for honeymoon. This country, is indeed, beautiful. The villages are numerous, and most are very old, all with a story making them a valuable historic landmark.

France is covered with Memorials in appreciation, very heartfelt even today, for the American soldiers, who helped liberate this country. Our reception has been warm and genuine. The French country side is everything wonderful that Paris is not.

Monday, our trek through one of the most, if not, the most, important wine areas on the planet begins. I will start sending images of great wines we have sampled and purchased.

The villa we rented for the week, has a grill, charcoal at least, and that is all I can say about that, at this point. It will be used.

i will be outside grilling enjoying the vista of the many acres of vines, that Charlemagne called it his favorite.
