When in Rome, do as the Romans….hotel bar in Louisville has a great selection of bourbons (as I’m sure they all do here) more than what I’m used to paying, so be it
I’ve not had that Weller. It’s impossible to find here and if you do see a full proof it’s about $300-$500. I hope you enjoyed the experience. 🥃

I’ve got both in my bar at home. Paid $100 for each of them. I didn’t go for anything out of the ordinary given the per ounce prices of these bars in KY. The W12 was $31 per oz, the WFP was $26 per oz

What do you expect when staying in the bourbon capital of the world and during the PGA? I actually bought them (different times) at MSRP.  That was a lucky run for me.
@ColbyLang Trust you had fun while here despite the Cluster F- of Friday early AM.

Local store had a bottle of W12 just sitting on the shelf next to everything else yesterday so I thought I’d ask the price.

Needless to say I passed when they said $250.

Four day weekend for me.  Cracked open the Russell’s Reserve 10 yr.  Might be a long night because I am a IPA man.

I just refuse to pay the ridiculous prices some places sell this for. It’s great. Not $200 good though

Fully agree.   I used to pay $65 all the time.  Now I have an agreement with the local shop and they charge me $100 out the door.   Usually grab a bottle every 3 months or so and drink others the rest of the time.

I have a set of those glasses. Goes good with Blanton's. Especially in that setting.

Has anyone tried the Barrell cask finished bottles?    Stopped into the liquor store for weekend cigars and the shopkeeper was raving about the Seagrass version.    For $82 I passed but seemed tempting.

I wish I only paid $82! It’s great. Cube of ice almost like a cocktail

Doesn't matter the taste. Great gesture and I am sure much appreciated.  Bonus for your strong work.
